It is not very often you see a fighter win a bout twice in a span of a few minutes, but earlier this year Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone essentially completed that task against Jim Miller.
During the main event bout this past July, Cerrone rocked Miller early on in the second round with a brutal body kick. Just as Cerrone went in for the finish, referee Dan Miragliotta called a stop to the bout due to an errant low blow.
On the replay, it was evident the kick was above the belt, meaning it was an absolutely legal blow that likely would have ended the fight.
In the end, there was no controversy as Cerrone finished the job in even more spectacular fashion just minutes later with a violent right head kick that took out Miller.
