Ronda Rousey: Losing in the Olympics motivated me to become champion

UFC On FOX: Live Heavyweight Championship - Arrivals

Ronda Rousey is arguably the biggest star in the entirety of the UFC, and likely all of MMA. The UFC women’s bantamweight champion is not only an incredible martial artist, but she is also a former Olympic judoka, winning a Bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing games.

While a Bronze medal is nothing to scoff at, Rousey considers third place a “loss”, and that painful moment has propelled her into the champion she is today.

In the video below, here Rousey discuss why losing in the Olympics has motivated her, why Cat Zingano is such a worthy opponent, and who she expects to fight after defeating Zingano at UFC 184.
