The final pres conference for the Amir Khan versus Devon Alexander bout taking place Saturday, Dec. 13, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas took place Thursday.

All the fighters on the four-fight, Showtime televised card were in the building which included, Keith Thurman, Leonard Bundu, Abner Mares, Jose Ramirez, Jermall Charlo and Lenny Bottai.

Despite being a quality fight in its own right, the Khan-Alexander fight has stipulations for whom ever the winner is.

There is heavy speculation that if Khan wins and looks impressive in the process that he will finally get his shot at pound-for-pound king, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Khan has been told this before and here we are several months later and still no Mayweather megafight has surfaced for “King Khan.”

Alexander is also in hopes of a Mayweather bout if he can pull out the victory, but his is a longer shot than Khan’s. But a win puts Alexander square in the middle of any big fight to be made at the 147-pound division, so needless to say this fight will be a career changer for the victor Saturday night.
