may berto weigh in stare

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is set to bid boxing farewell in his bout with Andre Berto on Saturday, Sept. 12 the two fighters took to the scales to officially weigh in for their welterweight title bout.

Both fighters made the 147-pound limit, with Mayweather (48-0. 26 KOs) coming in at 146 pounds and Berto (30-3, 23 KOs ) weighing 145 pounds in front of about 6,000 boxing fans, making the fight official.

After both fighters made weight they stood face-to-face for the final time before stepping into the ring at the Grand Garden Arena at the MGM, and the stare down got intense.

At one point, after Berto crossed his arms and was giving Mayweather a cocky stare, to which the two exchanged some words, which eventually spread to both fighters camps going back and forth shortly after.

The added chirpiness could bolster the hype behind this bout one day out from fight night, as there hasn’t been as much buzz surrounding the showdown as most feel that Berto is not deserving as others in the welterweight division to win the Mayweather sweepstakes.

Berto is a 12/1 underdog in most Vegas casinos and he is looking to end Mayweather’s pristine 19-year career on a sour note and but a one at the end of his record. 48 other also have came into a fight with Mayweather thinking they could give him a loss and none have been able to pull off the feat.

Tomorrow might be the final chance for anyone to defeat Mayweather, as he said he is calling it quits after the bout, so if Berto can go for broke and not mid taking punches to land punches, as he has done in previous fights, then there is a slight chance that he can can pull off what most think is the impossible .

The world will find out tomorrow if Berto has what it takes, and who knows with it being Mayweather’s supposed last bout something strange could happen, but chances are Mayweather notches the 49th win of his career and rides into the sunset with a perfect record and a stacked bank account to boot.
