So with the defeat of Chael Sonnen at the hands of UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, it leaves the division wide open for a new number one contender. It is a spot UFC middleweight Mark Munoz feels he deserves as he firmly believes that if he would have not injured his elbow he would of been facing Anderson Silva instead of Chael Sonnen this past weekend. Our man Marcos Villegas caught up with Munoz a day before he left to San Jose as he talks about his UFC On Fuel TV match up with rising contender Chris Weidman, his thoughts on the bout, how he believes he will win and of course why he thinks he should be the new number one contender on July 11th.
