Lamont Peterson Says Amir Khan Will Be A Tougher Bout than Timothy Bradley

On Wednesday we caught up with unified junior welterweight champion Amir Khan and now it is Lamont Peterson’s turn to be highlighted here at Fight Hub TV. Peterson, a former interim junior welter weight champion sports a solid record of 29-1-1. He has been a contender for quite some time in the junior welterweight division, taking on the likes of Victor Ortiz and Timothy Bradley. The latter two have provided the only blemishes in Peterson’s career and he hopes to avoid loss number two as he expressed confidence in his ability with he faces Khan in December. To add to his confidence will be the fact that the fight will take place in Peterson’s hometown of Washington D.C. whose last high profile boxing bout featured Mike Tyson.

Will this play a factor in the bout if the fight goes twelve rounds? From what we gather from Khan, he is not worried as he feels his skills are on a different level than Peterson. Peterson though knows how big of a opportunity this is for him and promises to show up as the best Lamont Peterson come December 10th.
