We know Dana White is a huge boxing fan, we also know that he doesn’t really respect Bob Arum. For years these two have thrown verbal jabs at each other, trying to bust the other open to bleed humility. In the latest battle of their on-going war, Dana White goes into detail about the Manny Pacquiao/Juan Manuel Marquez IV fight, and has some choice words for Arum.
“I’m the biggest Manny Pacquiao fan ever, I bet on Marquez. Dumbest fight in history, Bob Arum’s a moron. You don’t take that fight you idiot, that’s a money fight, that’s all about the money, that’s why. He should’ve fought Bradley. Bradley’s the fight they should’ve done, he would’ve knocked Bradley out, got his belt back, then he’s back in the position he should’ve been in. [Pacquiao] is one of the best fighters in the world, so he goes out and fights Marquez again? Bob Arum is the dumbest promoter in the history of the world.”
Those are some tough words. It’s almost as if Bob Arum gave a light heavyweight title shot to a middleweight coming off an embarrassing loss.
