Dan Lauzon is back in Joe Lauzon’s corner after “toxic” training sessions.

I know that brotherly love can sometimes be wrapped in a nice burrito of vitriol, punches, kicks and acidic words, and the Lauzon brothers are no strangers to that dynamic. Dan was ousted from his brother Joe’s training camps after not taking them seriously enough, and now they are back together, and Dan will be in Joe’s corner in Boston when the UFC visits the city for UFC on FOX Sports 1, 1. Or whatever it’s being called. If you remember, Dan was the youngest UFC fighter ever when he lost to Spencer Fisher at UFC 64, then he was quickly cut, then fought his way back into the organization, was cut again after losing to Cole Miller and Efrain Escudero, and it went downhill personally from there.

But Dan has got his act together, and Joe has welcomed him back with open arms

“We’re getting along,” Joe said. “I think a big part of it before was that we did not see eye to eye on anything. We couldn’t even get along together in training. It was like a very, very toxic training relationship where we’d both try to murder each other every chance.

“But it’s been awesome lately. The last six to eight months, maybe a bit longer, we’ve been getting together awesome.”

But will that help Joe when he meets Michael Johnson in August?
