When Chael Sonnen is not fighting inside the octagon and taking the souls of lesser men, he is channeling his inner “The Mouth From The South” Jimmy Hart via his organic voice box on Fuel TV, and various other propaganda based Zuffa shows with his expertise. Now we will give Sonnen credit, he has given some pretty in-depth and concrete insights when it comes to breaking down fights on these various shows. So much so that it is easy to see that Sonnen already has his exit plans from MMA firmly in place.
So we went to Sonnen to channel his inner Yoda and asked the wise Jedi master to give us his thoughts on the upcoming UFC on Fuel TV 7 match up between old lion and shoe in UFC hall of famer, Vitor Belfort and sorta young/old lion Michael Bisping. Sonnen who fought Bisping at UFC on Fox at the beginning of 2012, says that Belfort’s best shot lays early in the fight, “Vitor Belfort has to knockout Michael Bisping in the 1st round to win, but Vitor is really good knocking people out in the first round.” The wise Jedi master also lays out his 2013 goals in which he looks to take the light heavyweight title from current champion Jon Jones.
