Brendan Schuab is a sad panda, wants in at UFC 164, reacts to Mitrione injury.

It’s not easy for fighters to go through a whole training camp only to have their opponent drop out at the figurative last minute, not easy at all. Cash for training gets spent, with no cash incoming from the fight. All of that adds up to Brendan Schaub being a sad panda. And rightfully so.

Yesterday Matt Mitrione pulled out of their UFC on FOX 8 heavyweight battle on the main card with an undisclosed injury. We don’t know when Mitrione will be back, but Schuab wants to fight right away. Dude needs to get paid. Check out the first reaction from Brendan Schuab about Mitrione pulling out of their fight, straight from Marcos Villegas.

“Man, I’m a sad panda straight up. I’m trying to put on a happy face and help the guys here, but I just got done with camp and Mitrione pulled out of (the fight) yesterday, it’s a killer for me. I went through a whole camp, financially it’s not easy, I had to fly coaches and training partners in, from Denver , New Mexico, all over. So for me to not have a fight after a full training camp, it sucks man. It sucks.”
