Brandon Rios will face the toughest task of his 33 fight career on Nov. 23 when he faces off with former eight-division titlist Manny Pacquiao in Macau live on HBO pay-per-view.

Coming off the first loss of his career at the hands of the heavy hitting Mike Alvarado in March, Rios is known for his exciting fight style and there is always a chance that a fight of the year-style fight any time he steps in the ring.

With Pacquiao essentially fighting for his career after suffering two-straight losses and Rios looking to nab the marque win of his career, the bout has all the makings to be a fight of the year candidate.

“Come November 23 I can guarantee Manny Pacquiao and myself will give the fans the fight of the year,” Rios said.

His go for broke style of fighting has made Rios a fan-favorite and the fans know that no matter what Rios will give it his all in every fight he is in.

“What makes Brandon Rios must see TV? Well everybody already knows how I fight. Everybody knows I come and fight with my heart and balls. I leave it all in the ring and there are no limits.

People like that at the fights. The fans already know I will not give them a boring fight, because every single fight I have brought my exciting style of fighting to the ring.”

All though Rios is known for his slugfests, he knows that his opponents are aware of the scrappy Rios, so being prepared for that is a must for Rios.

“I now train in a way to fight different fighters, not just brawl, because at the end of the day I don’t know how my opponents train to fight me.”

Despite losing their second bout, Rios is proud of his two fights with Alvarado, as he feels it how every fight should be like, as if you don’t please your fans then in the end you’re not going to be very successful.

“We both fought out hearts out and left it all in the ring. That’s how it should always be, fight, fight your way to the top. Fight for your fans, because at the end of the day, the fans, whether they love or hate us, they’re the ones who pay for our sport.”
