Timothy Bradley media scrum video: 10 minute round sparring, confidence and training hell

Timothy Bradley is definitely a guy who could hang with the older generation of fighters who would slug it out for fifteen rounds on fight night. Now just one week away from his anticipated rematch with Manny Pacquiao on April 12th, new details are emerging on how training has gone for “The Desert Storm.”

For one, Bradley has been sparring ten minute rounds. Those familiar with the Pride FC days will immediately light up as the now defunct Japanese MMA organization structured their fights around one ten minute round and one five minute round. Now we are pretty sure Bradley has never even heard of Pride but just to even fight a ten minute round is testament to the hard work and dedication he has put in for this camp. So much so that he has labeled it the hardest camp of his life and likened what trainer Joel Diaz has put him thru as “hell.”

Pushing to this extreme was a necessity as Team Bradley expects a frenetic pace from Pacquiao. Amidst all the calls from fans, media and himself that Pacquiao is now a soft fighter, Bradley still expects a hyper focused fighter that will push him to his limits. He spent the better part of twelve minutes talking to reporters in a scrum about this and how his wins over Ruslan Provodnikov and Juan Manuel Marquez have shot his confidence levels thru the roof.

Indeed. The Bradley from two years ago is a very different fighter than the current. As you can see from the scrum below, all Bradley cares about is a clear and decisive victory. Hear about that and much more below!
