Former WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley is expected to make his return after falling to Manny Pacquiao in April, as a bout with Diego Chaves in Las Vegas in in the works.

The bout is planned to be held at the Chelsea inside the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Dec.13 and televised on HBO according to Steve Carp of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The bout would mark the second time this year that Chaves (23-2, 19 KOs) fought at the Strip hot spot as he faced Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios there in August.

Chaves lost the bout to  Rios in controversial fashion, as he was disqualified after throwing an elbow to Rios’ head in a foul-filled fight that referee Vic Drakulich never really had control of.

The fight date is on the agenda of this Tuesday’s Nevada State Athletic Department meeting, that will also have a proposed Dec. 20 fight card promoted by Guitly Boxing at the Hard Rock on the agenda and the much talked about meeting with Floyd Mayweather Jr. regarding several events that were televised on Showtime’s “All Access: Mayweather vs. Maidana 2”

Bradley  (31-1, 12 KOs) will be looking to get his record back on the wining track after suffering his first “official loss” at the hands of Pacquiao and a win over Chaves will find his name back in the mix for bigger money fights in 2015.
