Antonio Tarver talks Lateef Kayode & heavyweight dreams “If I fight Wladimir Klitschko I will beat him”

In this exclusive video interview, Antonio Tarver speaks to Marcos Villegas about his upcoming fight with Lateef Kayode this Saturday June 2nd on Showtime. The card is a monster event featuring Winky Wright vs. Peter Quillin, Austin Trout vs. Delvin Rodriguez and Leo Santa Cruz. I would suggest you all tune in because from top to bottom it is going to highlight some very entertaining fights.

Tarver shares his comments on the bout this Saturday and expresses that people have always been counting him out from the get go, “people called me too old to start my pro career, people said I would never make it to the Olympics, I would never win a world title, I would not knock out Roy Jones..I am a dream maker, I set goals and I am going to bring back the heavyweight title to America. If I fight Waldimir Klitschko I will beat him!”

It is a hefty goal Tarver has in mind as both brothers Klitschko have been dominating the heavyweight division for close to a decade. This bout with Kayode is being contested at the crusierweight limit and Tarver would not need to gain much weight to jump up and challenge either of the two brothers. The question remains, can Tarver defeat a Klitschko brother? Before we jump to conclusions lets not forget, he has to get past a very strong and determined Lateef Kayode on Saturday. If he can and he beats Kayode in a dominating fashion then lets have this little chat about him and the Klitschkos as it would be a fight that would garner attention world wide, something the stale heavyweight division needs desperately
