It has been quiet some time since Manny Pacquiao has staged a media workout at The Wild Card in Hollywood, CA. The gym has so much history surrounding it that one does miss the landscape of possibly the most famous boxing club in the world. Today, the masses came in droves as media packed the gym to get a chance to speak and see the 8 division world champion. Pacquiao’s current assignment sees him facing Tim Bradley in a rematch of their controversial first fight. Their second date to tango happens on April 12th in Las Vegas, NV.
It’s is a fight in which both men seek validation. Bradley wanting to legitimize his win against the former champion and Pacquiao wanting to prove that he can still knock people out and still capture the hearts of boxing fans around the world.
Media days usually serves as a barometer of how much buzz their is for a actual event and today proved that quiet a few people are more than interested in this rematch. It was a absolute packed house as Pacquiao has not lost his starpower just yet.
