Of course Evander Holyfield wanted to bite Mike Tyson back after he bit his ear.

I remember where I was when Tyson bit Holyfield, I remember watching and thinking that the sport could never recover, even as a teenager. What was this? Biting? Is this how far it can go now? Is this legal in the UFC? It was one of the strangest nights in boxing’s history, and even though I’ve watched it over many times before, I never thought Holyfield would forgive Tyson, let alone both of them hanging out talking about it.

But that is life, and years later they are talking about it, and even laughing. Surreal.

Watch Tyson and Holyfield talk about the infamous ear bite(s) that shocked the world.

“When you bit my ear, I pulled my arms up and went, ‘Arrgh.’ Everybody was telling me, ‘Man, Holy, you got leap. Did you see how high you jumped?’ I jumped and by the time I came down, boy, I’m from the ghetto. My first thing was, ‘Man, I’m going to grab him and bite the daylights out of him to get him back.’ I kept on saying, ‘I’m going to get him back. I’m going to get him back. I want to get him back.’
