Another day, another dollar in the life of Floyd Mayweather Jr. Last night at the MGM Grand, Mayweather put on a clinic, and quelled the doubters who said at the age of 36, he was losing his edge. Mayweather blended agility, defense, offense and smarts and he was simply on another level im comparison to Robert Guerrero en route to a easy unanimous decision victory.
A the post fight press conference, Mayweather was humble and gracious in victory and at one point introduced Guerrero to the waiting media. He made a point to mention that Guerrero was not only tougher than he expected, but that he was a great champion and that Gilroy and the Bay Area should be proud in the champion that they have.
