Manny Pacquiao to throw out first pitch at Dodger Stadium

Eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao will take to the mound Monday night in Southern California when he visits Dodger Stadium for the Los Angeles Dodgers’ game versus the Washington Nationals.

No, Pacquiao (56-4-3, 38 KOs) won’t be adding another profession to his already long list, he will be there to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and promote his Nov. 22 bout with American Chris Algieri (20-0, 8 KOs) . Pacquiao will throw the heat at 5 p.m. PDT and it will mark the second ceremonial pitch of this media tour, as Pacman threw out the first pitch at AT&T Park in San Francisco before the San Francisco Giants game against the Milwaukee Brewers Friday.

The two fighters are on a 12-day, over 27,000 mile  media tour to promote their fight that will take place at The Venetian Macao, that will be for Pacquiao’s WBO welterweight strap.

The almost two-week long media tour,  began on August 25 at The Venetian Macao, included press conferences or public and private appearances in Shanghai, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York.

The Pacquiao versus Algieri world welterweight championship bout will be aired live, Saturday Nov. 22, on  HBO pay-per-view beginning at 9:00 p.m. EDT / 6:00 p.m. PDT.
