Manny Pacquiao defeats Timothy Bradley via unanimous decision

tim manny face off

After the controversial decision the last time the two fought in June 2012, Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley put on quite a show in their rematch Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao and Bradley had some great exchanges and Pacquiao got the best of most of those resulting in a 116-112, 116-112, 118-110 unanimous decision.

Bradley came out the gates early swinging for the fences, but whiffed on most of those, as his counter-punching timing was just a little off.

Pacquiao took Bradley’s punches in stride and landed several power shots that hurt Bradley, but neither fighter met the canvas.

Bradley tried to time a counter right hook a few different times after he lured Pacman to the ropes, but missed wildly each time, but still wowed the crowd with the intent those punches had on them.

In Round 11 when the bout appeared to be coming down to the championship rounds Bradley seemed to take the round off and barely threw any meaningful punches. Pacquiao took advantage of that and landed enough shots to easily take the round heading into the final stanza.

The final round was full of action, but Bradley, again missed on most of his power shots and Pacquiao picked Bradley off dominating the round. A mid-round head butt did little to deter Pacquiao as he and Bradley had a frantic exchange to close out the fight, cementing Pacquiao’s win.

With how good the bout was this time around a third fight between Pacquiao and Bradley should be expected, and unlike the last time fans of both fighters should have no problem with that.
