So Lamont Peterson has a stay busy fight this weekend at The Barclays Center on Showtime. He will be facing Edgar Santana in a fight that serves to showcase the DC based fighter but to drum up interest in a potential unification fight with Danny Garcia. Problem is, fans are asking why couldn’t he go straight to Danny Garcia? Garcia, Golden Boy Promotions and Showtime have been getting some MAJOR heat over the selection of “Hot” Rod Salka to face the undisputed junior welterweight champion of the world. Now it’s da troof, Salka is not rated nor is he a elite level fighter but hey, all fans can do is keep leaving those cherry emoji’s on anything to do with that fight. Peterson in speaking to media yesterday hold hope that all this unification talk does deem true and welcomes Danny Garcia as his next opponent.
