Amir Khan “Lamont Peterson can talk all he wants, on May 19th he is getting knocked out”

“Lamont Peterson can talk all he wants, on May 19th he is getting knocked out.” Those are strong words coming from Amir Khan who most certainly wants to have a clear cut victory over Lamont Peterson to avoid any doubts as to who will be the junior welterweight king on the night of May 19th. There has been controversy and crying over the result of the first Peterson/Khan bout which took place in December of last year. Everything from a mystery man in black speaking to judges, to scorecards being conveniently lost and a glorified press conference in England to highlight all this has given this fight quiet a bit of legs in terms of story lines.

Will this mystery man in black make an appearance once more? Will Khan work on the inside or fear a deduction of a point as was the case in the final round of the first fight? We could ramble on and on but Khan is already promising that he will fight an aggressive fight one that those who are accustomed to Khan’s style might raise their eyebrows and wonder why Khan would want to go toe to toe with Lamont Peterson. Our cameras were across the pond in England yesterday as Amir Khan talks about his rematch with Lamont Peterson.
