Bernard Hopkins looks to unify the light heavyweight titles once more as boxing’s ageless wonder takes on a man nineteen years younger than him in olympian and current WBA and IBA light heavyweight champion Beibut Shumenov.
The two held a opening press conference on Wednesday to announce their unification bout on April 19th in Washington D.C. as Hopkins’ looks to use his experience en route to what would be another historic notch on his belt if he were to be victorious at The Armory.
In this video interview, Hopkins talks about what it means for him to unify the titles once more and that Shumenov will notice that fighting him is a whole different ball game to what he has seen before.
