Daniel Geale is not worried about the hype that surrounds Gennady Golovkin as he looks to take him 12 rounds

daniel geale vs gennady golovkin

Daniel Geale is looking to shock the world and become the number one middleweight in the division when he faces Gennady Golovkin on July 26th in Madison Square Garden. Geale, a former two time world champion is banking on self improvements in his game since his split decision loss to Darren Barker in August of last year.

Geale attributes all this as a culmination of mind, body and spirit finally clicking in as one. It has lead to a renewed sense of confidence, one in which that causes him not to buy into the Tyson like aura that surrounds Golovkin; After all he is human.

In chatting with Geale yesterday, he talks to me about how he feels he will get Golovkin to go the distance, how his style will create problems for the khazak bomber and what we can expect from him the night of the fight.
