Todd Duboef “Once we get the greenlight for Kelly Pavlik, we will book him a fight”

Top Rank President Todd Duboef spoke to fight correspondent Michael Mardones about a few interesting tid bits. The first of which being if the boxing outfit has any plans to broadcast fights on a terrestrial TV station. “There are always plans, we are always having discussions,” Duboef is quoted as saying during the interview and boxing fans can only hope there is more than discussion but rather action in their part. Duboef also touches on Top Rank’s plan for former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik.

Pavlik is now training in Oxnard, CA under the supervision of Robert Garcia who also trains Nonito Donaire, Brandon Rios and Antonio Margarito. The middleweight moved there for on again off again alcohol related problems.
