The one big question surrounding this Canelo vs. Lara fight is how will Canelo deal with a defensive, slick minded south paw such as Erislandy Lara after the showing he had with Floyd Mayweather Jr. He’s disposed of one southpaw in Austin Trout and now Canelo is looking to add Erislandy to the list of deposed foes.
We are sure Lara feels the opposite and probably thinks if Canelo had trouble with Mayweather and Trout he should give Canelo a run for his money. But stop right now! Chepo Reynoso, the trainer of Canelo wants you to know, “Lara is no Mayweather!”
