Our good mate’s from Hatton Boxing hooked it up with this exclusive with undefeated middleweight and European champion Darren Barker. Now you may be asking, who the heck is Darren Barker? Well a lot of people wondered this before and after he was scheduled to face middleweight king Sergio Martinez. Barker who sports a record of 23-0 is the current European Middleweight champion as well as the Commonwealth Middleweight champion. Take it for what it is worth, but Barker does come from a very solid boxing background. Is he on the level of Martinez and past foes? Most likely no, but that is not stopping Barker from believing he will score a huge upset this weekend in Atlantic City on HBO.
Barker believes his speed is comparable to Martinez’s and this his power is being over looked by the Argentinian. Barker looks to be the third person to hand a loss to Martinez, who suffered defeats to Paul Williams and Antonio Margarito.
