Cain Velasquez says Alistair Overeem the total package, talks Junior Dos Santos and Josh Koscheck

In a recent trip to San Jose, Marcos Villegas had the chance to stop by AKA, the home camp of Jon Fitch, Phil Baroni, Mike Swick, Daniel Cormier, Cain Velasquez and many many others. It was all part of a promotional day in connection with the new reality series “Fight Factory” on nuvoTV which premieres August 15th. Media outlets were invited in to speak with the cast of the series, which follows AKA coach Javier Mendez, established stars such as Velasquez, Cormier, Rockhold, Baroni, Fitch as well as up and comers such as Gabe Carrasco. The show has been getting quiet a buzz lately, as we released a clip in which Josh Koscheck said he hoped his former gym “burned to the ground.”

With all that being said, we sat down with Velasquez to discuss the show and a variety of topics ranging from Alistair Overeem and the whole Junior Dos Santos situation from how Josh Koscheck leaving AKA has affected himself and the team to being the torch bearer for Latinos in the sport of MMA.
