Leading up to what will be the biggest fight money wise in the history of boxing between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, the build up to the fight is bigger, and things that aren’t usually a thought are big news, like the two fighter’s mouthpieces.

The fight goes down May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and will be aired live via co-produced and co-distributed pay-per-view via Showtime PPV HBO Pay-Per-View beginning at 9 p.m. EDT/6 p.m. PDT.

Mayweather’s mouthpiece was  revealed his last week, and had the world talking, as it is worth a whopping $25,000 and has real $1oo bills inside the piece created by the New York-based Dr. Lee Gase.

Protecting that million dollar smile in the ring is probably a top priority for man formerly known as “Pretty Boy” and a mouth piece worth that much should do the trick.

Dr. Gase said that the mouthpiece also helps Mayweather’s breathing, which could give him a leg up on May 2, as the bout is likely to go the full 12 rounds.

Pacquiao’s mouth piece is far less expensive than Mayweather’s, but you don’t get a nickname like “Money May” by not buying the best things money can buy.

Pac-man’s is made by the same man that has made his throughout his career, Ed De La Vega of Mouth guards for Champions out of Los Angeles.

De LA Vega explained that Pacquiao’s runs at a far less seep $500, and it in the colors of the Philippine flag, so Pacquiao can represent his home country, where he is a congressman.

So, despite being 50 times cheaper than Mayweather’s the country symbolism involved gives his a leg up on the flashy, over-the-top mouthpiece of Money May’s.
