Juan Manuel Marquez says rematch with Maidana is ‘easy’ fight for Mayweather

Marquez Mayhem

Former Floyd Mayweather Jr. foe, Juan Manuel Marquez would knows a thing or two about the self-proclaimed, The Best Ever, and doesn’t give his Sept. 13 for Marcos Maidana  much of a chance in the rematch Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Marquez said it will be a great fight, but said that the fight would be  easy for Mayweather, because he likes when fighters pressure him, so he can use his precise counter punching to pick a fighter a part when they come in.

Maidana’s camp has said that he won’t be as smothering this time around to help conserve energy for the latter rounds of the fight, trying to avoid gassing out toward the end like he did in the first fight.

With all the talk of dirty fighting between Mayweather and Maidana’s camps, Marquez said that Mayweather’s elbows are a dirty tactic, but given his boxing experience and intelligence he said it is part of Mayweather’s game.

We will have to wait one more day to see if indeed Mayweather has an easier time this time around against Maidana, until then stayed tuned to FightHubTV.com and our YouTube page for all the best coverage of “Mayhem” leading up to the big Showtime PPV event beginning at 5 p.m. EDT/8 p.m. PDT.
