With the much anticipated return to the ring of Manny Pacquiao just 10 days away we are sure to hear all kinds of predictions and thoughts on Pacman’s bout with Brandon Rios on Nov. 23. One man that always demands attention when he speaks about anything, especially boxing, is former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.

Tyson speaks of Pacquiao’s mental state heading into the bout as the key to whether or not he’ll be successful in his first bout in almost a year.

Having a similar situation happen to himself, albeit a bigger shock, when Tyson was knocked out by Buster Douglas in what is one of the biggest upset victories in boxing history, he has firsthand knowledge about the recovery process after such a devastating loss.

With all the interviews Pacquiao has given during the promotion of the Rios bout, he says all the right things and seems like a guy who is ready to fight with no hangover from the sixth round knockout loss to Juan Manuel Pacquiao last year.

Rios will stand in front of anyone and go toe-to-toe offering for an exciting bout each time he steps into a boxing ring. This style is what everyone is deeming a “perfect” opponent for Pacquiao because he has done well against fighters like Rios in the past.

If Pacquiao has gotten it all together up stairs and is 100 percent committed to this fight he should win in dominating fashion. This would give fight fans the action packed style of fight that the majority love and prove those who said Rios is the ideal comeback fight for Pacquiao right as well.
