And just like that, another fight is made formally official on the boxing calendar. Fan favorite Gabe Rosado makes his return to a boxing ring (after doing that whole BKB thing & knocking out Brian Vera) at the Barclays as he takes on dynamite puncher David Lemieux.
This is very much the essence of a crossroads fight. Rosado who in his last five fights has gone 1-3-1 (NC) desperately needs a win to stay relevant or get bumped down to club shows. Lemieux on the other has not lost since dropping a decision to Joachim Alcine back in 2011. Quiet frankly, if he wants to rekindle the hoopla that surrounded him prior to him being knocked out to Marco Antonio Rubio, he needs a blockbuster performance on Dec 6th.
It’s now or never for both men.
