Manny Pacquiao says it’s embarrassing to Top Rank seeing Mayweather vs. Maidana posters all over MGM Grand
If you have been walking around the MGM Grand at all this week or plan on coming to the hotel for this Saturday’s PPV bout between Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley, you will find something very peculiar. So much so that it enraged Top Rank founder Bob Arum at today’s final press conference for Pacquiao/Bradley. The MGM it seems is ready for Mayweather vs. Maidana and not the PPV they have this weekend.
By first hand accounts, I can tell you I found it very odd seeing more collateral for the Mayweather fight all over the MGM Grand than for Pacquiao/Bradley. Let’s not get it twisted though. There is signage for the Pacquiao bout this weekend but Mayweather’s face is that much more visible and apparent through out the entire property. From slot machines, to tables to posters and what not, Mayweather’s bout with Maidana in three weeks vastly outnumbers what the property has for a fight they are hosting this weekend.
It is with this first hand account that I asked Manny Pacquiao what he thought about all this and if he might of felt disrespected at all. See what his reaction was as well as who he considerers to be the hardest puncher he has faced in the video below.
