Bob Arum talks Mayweather and Timothy Bradley “Everytime we get close, Mayweather throws a curve ball”

When it comes to boxing it boggles the mind how two fighters, both in their primes, in the same division and considered the best in the world have seemingly not been able to fight each other over the course of 3 plus years. It is a shocking portrait of how messed up boxing is. Will we ever see Mayweather vs. Pacquiao? I like to think so, but much of the primm and luster will have worn off from both these fighters when it finally does happen. So whose more to blame in this whole situation? It really depends who you ask.

In this audio interview, we speak to Top Rank head Bob Arum as he explains to us why in his opinion the super fight is not taking place between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. He lays out a picture that we have heard ever since the last negotiations for the fight fell thru, Mayweather is insistent on not agreeing to a 50/50 split for the fight. Arum details this and touches on Pacquiao’s next fight against undefeated and former junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley on June 9th.
