Adrien Broner is one of the most talented young fighters in the sport today, but at times his in-ring antics can blind people from the boxing skills he posses.

No matter what anyone else thinks of him, Broner explained that he will keep being himself and have the “if it aint broke, don’t fix it” mentality.

“I think either one (the boxer or the entertainer) you get I still fight,” Broner said at the final news conference for the PBC on NBC card at the MGM Grand. “I still give the show that everybody is looking for, so it really don’t matter.”

Broner’s next chance to put on a show is Saturday when heĀ  faces the always tough John Molina Jr. in the co-main event bout on the debut of Premier Boxing Champions on NBC.

A show is what Broner is looking to put on as he dubbed himself, “Mr. NBC” obviously hopping to draw fans from his over-the-top persona that’s helped him rise to one of the most talked about fighters in the sport.

“If I went to a school that wore red uniforms everyday, there would be three days out of the week that I’d wear blue,” Broner said. When asked Why, Broner replied, “Just to do it.”

Although Broner’s mouth has gotten him in trouble before, Broner was still his brash self at the press conference, even calling out Molina from the make shift ring in the middle of the media center drawing all eyes on him.

“Hey John John, get in here and we can do this right here, right now,” Broner said. “No gloves.”

Hate him or love him, Broner doesn’t care, he knows that either way you’ll still be talking about him, and that’s all that matters in the end.

“If I didn’t do me, I wouldn’t be where I am,” he said. “So I’ll just do me and let them give their opinions.”
