We wonder when the fallout from UFC 151 will finally dissipate and the shockwaves from the only canceled event in UFC history will stop giving us cold sweats in the middle of the night, soaking our sheets and leaving us to jolt awake with the terrible thought that a middleweight coming off a loss somehow is challenging for the UFC light heavyweight title over rightful number one contender Dan Henderson. Right now it seems like never, but a turning point has been announced: April 27, 2013. That’s the date Chael Sonnen and Jon Jones will step into the Octagon to settle whatever hijinx that arrived during their tenure as coaches on the seventeenth season of TUF, and maybe on April 28th the healing will begin.
This marks the first return to the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. for the UFC since UFC 129. Tickets go on sale soon.
